The GCS is capable of UAV mission route planning on the digital map using the following functions.

Flight plan way point data is graphically entered.

It is possible to edit old mission plans and store them on a disk for future use.

Flight plans consist of legs such that each leg can be modified, added or deleted.

Each leg is controllable in airspeed, altitude, and payload on/off control, and data link on/off control.

Entry of up to 100 way points per flight plan.

Mission flight plans loaded into the UAV before or during the flight.

The GCS provides a digital map display and overlay of the following annotations on the map:

• UAV position
• Payload viewing footprint
• The trace of UAV flight
• Mission plan flight path
• Point Navigation Waypoint
• Notes

The Image Screen on the display unit provides an image display of the following:

• North direction vector
• GPS Coordinates
• Date (year, month, day)
• Airspeed
• Altitude

Ruggedized Tablet PC with stylus touch actuation for ease of operation.

Similar for fixed in-vehicle option.

The system has the capability to load digital raster maps (CVRRG or CADRG) and the digital terrain elevation data (DTED) provided by the customer.

Coordinates and elevation of a selected point on the maps are displayed on the screen.

The system is able to select appropriate map and the scale to position air vehicle location at the center of the screen.
According to search area, map selection is done automatically without any need of operator involvement.

The system calculates the coordinates in UTM and geographical coordinate system.

The system is able to transform UTM and GP, MGRS coordinate system to each other and select different map scales.

The Payload system consists of the Camera (DLTV), Camera Controller for 1 single axis control and 2.4 GHz Transmitter/Antenna.

The 2.4 GHz Transmitter is very small and transmits analog image to PGCS.
